Yacht marina in Gelendzhik will open doors for ships in 2022

Full completion of work, including the construction of capital berths, is planned for 2026.

The Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory is one of the areas that lacks infrastructure, including convenient and modern marinas. More than 2 thousand vessels are registered in this region alone, while the parking capacity does not exceed 600. The yacht marina being built in Gelendzhik will be able to solve some of these issues.

The first phase of construction will be completed very soon, the first vessels will be able to stop in the new yacht marina starting from the third quarter of 2022. It is reported that yachts with a draft of no more than 5.6 m will be able to stop in the marina, the size of vessels is not limited.

The first stage of work includes the construction of basic structures, including wave protection. In the first quarter of 2022, the builders plan to begin the construction of capital berths, and the first stage of the upgraded floating pontoons will be installed in the second half of 2022. According to TASS, which is cited with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of the region, the final construction will be completed in 2026. In addition to the yacht marina, it is planned to build a passenger terminal with an annual design capacity of 19.6 thousand passengers.

The project is financed by Rosmorport, the amount of financial investments in the reconstruction of the marina in Gelendzhik amounted to about 4.5 billion rubles, the Sea Port of Gelendzhik organization is also an investor.
