The yacht combines sporty design with the latest technological developments in sustainability.
Italian yacht builder Azimut Yachts is preparing to present its new sporty yacht Azimut S7 at the Düsseldorf International Boat Show in Germany.
Azimut S7 is a 21.6 meter long yacht, continuing the S model range, which previously included the S6, S8 and Grande S10. The ship's exterior was designed by Alberto Mancini, and the hull lines were optimized by PL Ausonio Naval Architecture.
The yacht successfully combines sporty design with the latest technological developments in sustainability. The exterior uses carbon fiber, which has reduced the overall weight and increased the yacht's volume. In addition, the Azimut S7 has been given a highly efficient system with three 800 hp Volvo IPS engines, with a top speed of 35 knots (40 mph).
The company says that the improved performance reduces fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions at high speeds by an average of 20-30%. At the same time, the yacht has high-speed performance compared to other members of the class.
“Shaped by an ambitious technological vocation to be the most advanced sports yacht in its category, S7 is the paradigm of peak performance and luxury relaxation,” Azimut commented.
The yacht features a sporty style deck with additional lounging space, large sun loungers and an open-air dining area. The main deck offers guests a “relaxed and free-flowing lifestyle on board.” The lower one is home to five cabins and a spacious garage for water toys.
