Winch Design unveils new Boston Boatworks cruiser

The new cruiser is positioned as a “fast and unique” boat, with a speed of up to 40 knots.

Winch Design has unveiled the Boston Boatworks 52 express cruiser, created in partnership with Zurn Yacht Design. The 680-foot vessel is opening up a wide range of options for equipment and finishes.

“As a lifestyle brand, we are excited to be involved in a project that speaks to our interests and those of our clients,” said Jim Dixon, Managing Partner and Creative Director of Winch Design.

The new cruiser is positioned as a “fast and unique” boat, with a speed of up to 40 knots. The vessel has a two-cabin layout and an interior saloon. At the stern is an open cockpit with a folding swimming platform, and the helmsman’s position is in the bow of the vessel.

The colors for the Boston Boatworks 52 were chosen to reflect the “spirit and colors of Nantucket.” The interior features navy blue, white and orange accents, referencing the sunset theme.

“Winch has designed the space to be light and airy, incorporating a host of elegant and intelligent features to enhance the onboard lifestyle,” the company said.
