The company that organizes the largest pavilion yachting exhibition, boot Dusseldorf, has announced that the gala event has been postponed to 2022.
The reasons were the ongoing pandemic of coronavirus infection and the restrictive quarantine measures associated with it.
It was previously assumed that the main European indoor exhibition of yachts and boats in 2021 will be rescheduled from traditional dates at the end of January to April.
According to Wolfram N. Diener, a company representative and head of the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition center, the incidence of the Chinese COVID-19 virus remains quite high, so it is difficult to predict the end of the quarantine, which makes organizing an exhibition in April almost unrealistic. He emphasized that the health and safety of the participants of the boat show, its guests and partners are the top priority. That is why the decision was made to cancel the exhibition in 2021.
Diener added that now all the company's efforts are focused on a successful boot Dusseldorf next year.
In 2022, the pavilion exhibition should take place from 22 to 30 January.
