Poland-based Sunreef Yachts has unveiled a new line of Ultima hybrid catamarans. The manufacturer positions them as high-tech and fully customizable vessels.
In keeping with the latest trends in boat building, the Ultima design “combines comfort, performance and lifestyle.” Sunreef Yachts offers a choice of 45 and 55-foot (13.7 and 16.7-meter) “living platform” models, with larger models to follow at a later date.
“To create Ultima, we combined the best of multihull and monohull design philosophy. This concept is all about fast cruising, huge living space and energy efficiency,” commented Francis Lapp, founder and president of Sunreef.
The Ultima hybrid catamarans feature clever storage for water toys and gear, as well as a semi-open dining area and folding bulwark platforms at the stern. The company says the series is the ideal shape for those who want to “enjoy fast cruising with speed, comfort and style.”
