Design studio A Group, which is the author of the designs of Oceanco yachts and the 135-meter boat ATOM, has shown a conceptual design of the new Project Comète superyacht with three pools.
The exterior design of the 83-meter Comète was designed by architects Thibaut le Merdy and Matt Pegrum. The exterior of the boat is refined and luxurious. It provides guests with plenty of space to relax, for example, in an external salon with sliding transparent walls, an area of 220 square meters. m.
The main distinguishing feature of the yacht is a three-tiered beach club in the stern of the vessel. On the middle tier there are two pools with transparent edges. Between the pools is a staircase leading to a large swimming platform. On all tiers of the beach club there are sofas with armchairs, and large lamps in the form of balls are placed between them.
In the bow is the third and largest pool with a transparent bottom. The upper deck features a spa, jacuzzi, outdoor sun deck for al fresco dining and the owner's private deck. Comète has a garage with storage space for two tenders, eight jet skis and other water toys.
The superyacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in seven cabins. According to the developers, the boat will be able to move at a maximum speed of up to 16 knots and a cruising speed of up to 12 knots.
In the future, the designers plan to equip the Comète with hydrogen fuel cells, which will enable the generation of zero-emission electricity on board. The sleek and light hull of the yacht will help to reduce the amount of energy consumed by the propulsion system and, as a result, reduce the harmful impact on the environment.
