Started accepting applications for the nomination of nominees for the award "Yachtsman of the Russian Federation 2020"

Due to the Chinese virus pandemic, the annual national ceremony "Yachtman of Russia" this year will be held online and will be broadcast on the official website of the Sailing Federation, the FB page and YouTube on January 8, 2021.

As noted by the head of the All-Russian Federation Federation, Sergey Dzhienbaev, at the moment it is impossible to hold ceremonial events in a full-fledged format, but this does not mean that the federation will not celebrate the best athletes of the year.

On November 19, the acceptance of applications and the process of nominating applicants for the title of the best yachtsman of the current year started. All full members of the federation have the opportunity to apply.

Dzhienbaev called on everyone to take part in the nomination of applicants, and then in the public vote in two main categories "Best Yachtsman of the Russian Federation 2020" and "Best Yachtswoman of the Russian Federation 2020".

The winner of the project will be determined not by the jury, but by the participants of the All-Union Federal Fire Service who voted on the special page of the award. The WFTU Board of Trustees and the main partners of the ceremony will also be able to recognize the organizers of sailing competitions or major projects with special awards.

It will be possible to vote for candidates from November 28 on the page of the official website of the federation. Only full members of the WFTU are allowed to vote.
