Princess Yachts presents the new Princess S80

The yacht's design was developed by naval architects Olesinski, the Italian studio Pininfarina and Princess' own bureau.

British shipyard Princess Yachts has unveiled a new S-Class sports bridge, the Princess S80. The new vessel's design is based on the S72, previously disclosed at Boot Dusseldorf. In the Princess Yachts portfolio, the new 25.4m Princess S80 becomes the new flagship in her class.

The yacht's design was developed by naval architects Olesinski, the Italian studio Pininfarina and Princess' bureau. The yacht has a classic layout with an open saloon and a raised helm, as well as the possibility of installing a closed helm for the crew. The main deck sits close to the water, providing a seamless connection between the lounge area, lounge and sunbathing area.

“The design of the extended sleek canopy shades the forward two-thirds of this area, with the optional bimini covering the remaining third. The saloon glass extends well aft into the cockpit, covering the forward dining area, providing shelter from the wind without obscuring the view,” commented Andy Lawrence, Design Director at Princess Yachts.

The Princess S80 also features tall bulwarks with stainless steel oval railings and panoramic windows on both sides of the cockpit. The interior uses natural materials. Four guest cabins are located on the lower deck. Above is a 28.7 sqm flybridge with several seating areas.

The Princess S80 is powered by MAN V12 engines rated at 1,900 or 2,000 hp for speeds up to 34 knots. The yacht is designed for long voyages thanks to the increased tank capacity of up to 7,000 liters.
