This is a ship with an “expeditionary spirit” that can sail in any latitude.
Baku-based studio Abbasli Design has presented the concept of the 45-meter expedition yacht Caspian Star. The founder and chief designer of the bureau, Ujal Abbasli, described the vessel as a yacht with an “expeditionary spirit”, designed to navigate the ocean at any latitude.
The hull of the Caspian Star is made of steel, and the superstructure is made of aluminum. The yacht has a beam of 8.8 meters and a draft of 2.25 meters. The maximum speed of the vessel will be 22 knots, and the cruising speed will be 17 knots. The yacht can accommodate ten guests, as well as seven crew members.
The concept provides for a continuous connection of the yacht with the sea and the environment, including through the extensive use of glass and a minimal superstructure, which achieves the effect of a continuous view from any angle.
The Caspian Star entertainment center is located on the aft deck. The platforms open on the sides to create a roomy open-air beach club. In the center is an infinity pool that extends several levels down to a swimming platform. On the upper deck there is a Jacuzzi pool, sunbathing area, as well as a dining space and a bar for guests.
The bright red and gray exterior of the court is contrasted with an interior of muted colors of sand, cream and light wood with colorful artwork. An additional effect of openness is created by wide panoramic windows and sliding glass doors.
This is not Abbasli Design's first striking concept in recent times. In early 2022 the studio collaborated with TheYachtMogul to present a 77-meter concept called Mogul 777.
