The Russian Federation has allowed flights to the Seychelles and Ethiopia, but the states will accept Russian tourists under certain conditions.
Flights will depart to Victoria (the capital of the Republic of Seychelles) twice a week, to Addis Ababa - three times.
There are three options available for those wishing to get to the Seychelles. The first involves serving a 14-day quarantine in a "safe" country, which belongs to the "category 1". Such travelers must first submit an application to the website of the Seychelles Public Health Authority, as well as provide a negative test for coronavirus, made 72 hours before arrival. After that, tourists will be able to come to rest in the republic.
The second option is to get on a plane designed to carry VIP passengers (a business jet). In this case, it is necessary to show a negative test taken two days before arrival. At the same time, guests of the republic are allowed to stay only at certified resorts.
The last option involves traveling on a yacht. To disembark, tourists must undergo a temperature screening and provide a health diary that does not contain information about the symptoms of the disease.
Those wishing to travel to Ethiopia will need a tourist visa and a negative PCR test taken up to 120 hours prior to arrival. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from testing.
