While the yacht is designed for long-distance cruising, it also “reflects a beach club lifestyle.”
Based in Turkey, the shipyard Numarine presented a new line of Mediterranean Explorer yachts. The first two vessels, 40MXP, have already been sold, with delivery scheduled for 2025.
Evolved from the 37XP, the new model features an extended aft deck and glass pool. The Mediterranean Explorer is 39 meters long, two meters longer than its predecessor. In place of the beach club and garage, she has a full-width swimming platform with easy access to the ocean.
The yacht's creators call it a "true global explorer." The vessel is capable of covering a distance of up to 6,000 miles at a speed of 8 knots. The optimized hull shape of the yacht was developed by Umberto Tagliavini.
The Mediterranean Explorer 40MXP, while being oriented towards long voyages, at the same time “reflects a beach club lifestyle”. The yacht can accommodate twelve guests in six cabins. The interiors of the vessel were designed by specialists from the Turkish studio Can Yalman. The aft deck of the yacht contains additional space for al fresco dining, a bar and lounge area, as well as a swimming pool with a glass transom and a retractable awning.
“The new aft deck offers owners an additional way to enjoy everything our XP yachts have to offer – it’s the perfect place to relax when you just want to unwind with family and friends on the water,” commented Emer Malaz, Chairman of Numarine.
