The MC115 is an extended version of the previous MC100 model.
The McConaghy shipyard has unveiled its new flagship 35-meter MC115 catamaran design. The multihull is the largest in the company's catamaran lineup. Representatives of the shipyard state that with her launching, they aim to bridge the gap between production boats and superyachts.
The MC115, at 12.5m beam and 1.8m draft with daggerboards up, is a lengthened version of the outgoing MC100. Cataraman features a closed flybridge and has additional options for customization.
The helmsman's station is on the flybridge at the foot of the mast, the master stateroom is forward, and the main deck is open for meetings and socializing.
The forward saloon connects to the master stateroom, as well as to the aft deck saloon (where the outdoor dining area is located) and the hydraulic swim platform.
The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests and four crew members. At the same time, the creators of MC115 promise different configurations for the owner's choice. The yacht will be built from composite materials.
“The MC115 is a fast yacht and with a true wind speed of 20 knots and the yacht positioned at 100 degrees, she will comfortably reach 21 knots,” McConaghy commented.
The weekly charter rate for a yacht from Northrop and Johnson will be from $680 thousand. (more…)
