This is the third completed project at the Greek shipyard in 2023.
Greek-based shipyard Golden Yachts has announced the launch of the 78-metre yacht O'Rea, the company's third completed project this year.
In 2021, the contract to build the new yacht was awarded to Stefano Vafiadis of Golden Yachts. He designed a unique sloping nose, different from the wide noses of previous models such as the O'Pari and O'Ptasia, and featuring extended trapezoidal windows.
The main features of O'Rea are the spacious swimming pool that crosses the main deck aft and three skylights below that allow natural light to enter the spacious beach house style living area. A wellness bar is located near the entrance and the living area features a large U-shaped sofa and a spa area forward.
Stefano Vafiadis has also taken on the task of designing the yacht's interior with Italian studio Massari Design, which recently collaborated with the shipyard on their flagship X project.
O'Rea offers eight spacious guest cabins, including a spacious owner's suite with an adjacent private office. More than 250 options were used in the finishing process, including luxurious materials and precious stones.
“Going up the staircase that connects the various decks, one is struck by many refined details and precious materials, including polished marble steps, decorated and backlit vertical panelling, chandeliers that penetrate the stairwell from the upper deck to the main deck with a polished champagne-coloured metal structure and glass elements with three-dimensional patterns and different colour gradients,” said Studio Massari.
O'Rea will make her debut at the Monaco Yacht Show. After the delivery, the vessel will join the charter fleet of the associated brokerage firm Golden Yachts Atalanta Golden Yachts.
