Lurssen-ahpo

The superyacht is equipped with advanced technologies and engineering systems and is positioned as a "family".

German shipyard Lürssen has decided on a name for its latest creation, the superyacht Project Enzo, formerly known as Project Testarossa.

The press service of Lürssen Werft reported that in anticipation of the official delivery, the yacht received an official name - Ahpo, which means “grandmother” in Mandarin Chinese.

The superyacht Lürssen Project Enzo was first launched in the summer of 2021, after which she successfully completed trials in the North Sea. Shipyard representatives said that the yacht was officially registered under the flag of the Cayman Islands.

It is known that Ahpo was sold by Moran Yacht & Ship in autumn 2018 to a client Lürssen, who already owned an 86m yacht designed by Nuvolari Lenard.

Ahpo is a 5,000-tonne superyacht positioned as a “family friendly” yacht with sports and entertainment facilities, including a large gym and wellness space.

“Enzo’s design language is expressed through the harmonious integration of the yacht’s six decks – both maritime and technical elements with living spaces – into a coherent whole,” commented Dan Lenard, co-founder of Nuvolari Lenard.

The decks, integrated into the high bow, ensure seaworthiness in true ocean conditions and also allow for the creation of an "innovative full-beam owner's cabin duplex," he said.
The superyacht is equipped with advanced technology and engineering systems, including a heat recovery system in the generators for pool heating and a dynamic positioning system for electronic anchoring.

The Ahpo project is already the third for Lürssen and Nuvolari Lenard - previously, as part of the cooperation, the 86-meter yacht Quattroelle was created, and the megaproject of the 139-meter yacht Redwood is currently also under implementation.
