Questions
Is this a booking?
No. You send a request; we check operators who actually have the boat free and come back with a named offer. A deposit is paid only after the slot is confirmed, directly under the operator's charter contract.
Do I need a sailing licence?
Not for day trips, skippered boats or a cabin on a flotilla. For a bareboat charter one person on board needs a recognised licence (ICC or national) and some experience. Not sure? Ask for a skipper in the request.
What do the prices include?
Prices on the site are guides for the boat itself. Fuel, marina fees, final cleaning, a skipper and the security deposit depend on the operator; the offer we send lists them line by line.
Who is responsible on the water?
The operator and the skipper. Flotilia coordinates and stays your contact, but the charter contract, insurance and safety sit with the boat's operator.
How fast do you reply?
Usually the same day, in the messenger or email you leave. Short notice day trips are easiest to confirm by WhatsApp.
